I (salmaherrick) worked for Talksugar off and on for a few years but because of all the horror stories I was hearing of girls getting screwed over, I was leary and only worked the site when it was dead elsewhere. Anyhow I get a check for $58.43 for the pay period of 9-16-07 and my bank would not let me deposit it because the bank manager said it was a fraudulent check. She put the word “void” on it and when Eric from Talksugar was informed of what occured, he told me to send the check back and a new one would be reissued. He claimed because it was U.S. funds at a Canadian bank, some banks had problems cashing it because their lack of knowledge in international banking or whatever.

So that week I sent the check back and weeks and eventually months go by and nothing. I email Eric and he makes it sound as if his people had not received the check and somehow the US postal system is to blame. I email him some more and eventually he stopped responding. Who does business like that? I know my check wasn’t for a lot of money but I earned every penny of that. I haven’t been locked out of the TALKSUGAR platform yet, but I am sure that is only a few emails to Eric enquiring about my money away.  I even posted on the TS boards in a thread with girls complaining about similiar problems and after posting wanting details (to make girls who haven’t been screwed YET think he actually cares I am assuming) I haven’t heard a thing, not in the thread or via email. I have every email he sent me plus the ones I sent him if anyone wants to have a look. Anyhow, almost 5 months later and I have yet to see a cent of that money.
