I am MistressCandi on talksugar. I started back in Oct 2007, My first pay was Nov 1st,2007 for $220.11 I was suppose to get direct deposit into my bank account. I did check with my bank before I signed up for direct deposit due to the warnings about US banks. When the money did not come by the 10th of the month I sent an email to support. Steven asked me to give it a few more days and let him know when I get it. I then sent another email letting them know I still did not have my money. I asked a few questions. How long will a trace take? no response. Once the trace is completed how much longer will it take for me to get my funds? no response. I think I asked those questions at least 5 or 6 times. I got emails telling me to be patient and when they knew something they would let me know.One email told me that it was not there banks fault it was my bank. I even posted in the forum which well now I am blocked go figure. Finally I decided to call my bank back and speak to a supervisor to find out if they ever even tried to deposit my money. I was told that the money would have been returned to them due to the fact that my online bank does not take funds from Canadian Banks regardless of the funds being US. I told them that I called and checked before I signed up for the direct deposit, I was pretty pissed cause i was not given the right info. She then asked me to hold on cause she said she could check and give me the date it was refused and sent back. I thought YES now at least I can send Steven and Eric an email and let them know. When the bank rep came back she stated that there had been no attempt on talksugars part. I asked how could she tell if they attempted. She told me that every attempt by law has to be logged into the history of my account. No attempt had been logged because no funds were sent. This call took place around the end of Nov beginning of Dec. I sent them another email telling them of my findings and even giving them names and numbers for them to contact my bank. I did not hear a word from them nothing not even a kiss my ass ..lol…i spoke with another girl from talksugar who had problems and still does. She turned me onto www.wireplastic.com for my direct deposit. I went in got an account then sent it to talksugar with the needed info and asked them to please send my money from Nov 1st to this account. NO RESPONSE again. I went in updated the info on my page. I did not have enough in the account to get paid Nov15th but I did have enough for a check for Dec1st. I got that check for $75.21 around the 10th of Dec. I did not even put it in the bank until the 1st of Jan. Now from what I have heard they had several that did not clear the bank during that time. I am going to check tomorrow and see if it cleared. I have another check that i just got the other day in the mail for Feb 1st, $60.44 .
I kept emailing asking for a number to contact them on, so we could talk about this issue with no response. I finally did a 3 way call with my bank and there bank in Canada to see if I could find out anything about my money. Of course they couldn’t really tell me much but they did confirm that my bank was correct if they had sent the funds.There would be a log of it on my account ..It would have said it was refused and why it was refused. I notified them of the call after I got done and I got an email finally from Eric stating That the issue had been resolved and the case was closed. Nothing about where my money is or when I will get it. Not even a “Fuck you ” . Of course I responded back asking where the money is. I still do not have it. I took the calls i should get my pay. No response. go figure.
A word of caution!! for the girls/guys that have returned checks. I understand that they ask you to send them back to them. NOT a good idea even keeping a copy will not help you.If you do not have the original you have nothing. That is why they ask you guys to send them back to them. Once they have them then you have no way to press charges. With that bad check in your hands you have the power. There is no reason for you to have to send it back to them. Send them the copy that is all they should need to reissue a new check.Send it where they have to sign for it. Then you have proof you did send it. You can not cash it anyway after it has been returned to you for a TALKSUGAR NSF..But you can turn it into the district att. office where you live.
Another thing I found out through all of this (after several calls to Canada). Due to the fact that we work as independent contractors we can not go through Canada’s version of labor borad. In order to make a stand and go after these fuck heads. We would have to hire an Attorney in Canada. It might be a good idea to check out if there is several of us and we do it together. Something to think about. I am still on talksugar going to direct my boys to my listing on Niteflirt. I lowered my price so hopefully they will call me soon and any new ones are welcome to come…lol.. I am Candi4ubaby on Niteflirt. There has got to be some way to find out who owns talksugar… Thank you for this site ..I wish you all lots of calls and big bucks in 2008. Candi

Notice how she admits that she was told several times to be patient that the issue was being looked into and had she not chosen to break the rules Candi would have surely received her missing payment eventually one way or the other. You act like you expect them not to look into the issue before re-issueing funds that you very well could have actually received and could be lying about in an attempt to scam more money then you are owed. When you went to the bank and told them you were missing money did they offer to give you the money you felt you were owed just on your word alone? I highly doubt it! They told you to be patient and hold on while they looked into the issue and even though I am pretty sure it was their mistake they have not yet given you the money have they? So what on earth made you think that Talksugar was going to give you the money right away without looking into this issue for themselves? Then to top it all off you repeatedly and rudely and publically accused them of ripping you off despite the assurances from other pso’s on Talksugar that have been with them for years. As if that wasn’t bad enough you even went as far as to break the terms of service which you openly admit to doing in your post. Instead of being patient while Talksugar tried to figure out what went wrong you chose to direct your clients to Niteflirt while these very overworked guys from Talksugar were doing everything in their power to find out what happened to your check even though in all actuality it is very likely that it was your bank’s mistake and not even their problem at all. Considering the fact that I have been getting direct deposits from Talksugar without even one problem for almost five years now I have absolutely no doubt that is was your banks fuck up, not Talksugar’s as you try to claim. So now if you never get your money I wouldn’t blame Talksugar one bit considering you made the choice to break the terms of service in a way that cost all of us alot of money. I am sure that by your actions you cost the company and those who work for it way more then you feel you are earned.
